Railway lines no. 31,32,52

Project details:

 

Within the framework of the Operational Program – Eastern Poland, the Company implemented, among others, three contracts located in the Podlaskie Voivodeship on the lines 31, 32 and 52. The implemented projects are of key importance for the regional and interregional communication in the east of Poland. Thanks to the modernization of railway lines no. 31 and 32, the train journey on the Siedlce – Czeremcha – Białystok route will be shortened by 45 minutes (from 3h 8 min to 2h 23 min) and by 23 minutes on the Czeremcha – Białystok route (from 1h 34 min to 1h 11 min). In turn, works on the railway line no. 52 Lewki – Hajnówka restored railway communication on this line.

The works on the railway line No. 31, on the section spanning the voivodeship border – Czeremcha – Hajnówka included, among others:

  • renovation of 37 km of tracks,
  • replacement of turnouts and control equipment,
  • reconstruction of platforms at 10 stations and stops in the section Siemiatycze – Hajnówka,
  • construction of new bridges and culverts and renovation of 28 existing civil engineering facilities – viaducts, bridges, culverts and pedestrian overpasses.

The works on the railway line No. 32, on the section Białystok – Bielsk Podlaski (Lewki) included, among others:

  •  replacement of tracks, turnouts and railway traffic control equipment,
  •  reconstruction of platforms at stations and stops: Bielsk Podlaski, Strabla, Zimnochy, Hołówki Duże, Lewickie, Białystok Stadium,
  •  construction of 3 stops – Orzechowicze, Hryniewicze, Nowe Miasto,
  •  construction of 12 new engineering structures and renovation of 16 existing ones,
  •  renovation of 25 railway and road crossings.

The works on the railway line no. 52, on the section between Lewki and Hajnówka included:

  •  reconstruction of railway stations and stops – Lewki, Morze, Stare Berezowo, Chytra, Hajnówka,
  •  construction of a new stop in Mikłasze,
  •  replacement of tracks and level crossings and the construction of new civil engineering facilities.
