Conclusion of an agreement regarding the project to provide rail access to the Lubiatowo-Kopalino nuclear power plant

On 28 October 2025, TORPOL S.A. signed an agreement with PKP PLK S.A. for the comprehensive reconstruction of railway line No. 229 on the Lębork – Łeba section and the construction of a new section of railway line No. 230 on the Steknica – Słajszewo Elektrownia – Choczewo section as part of the project entitled “Ensuring rail access to the Lubiatowo – Kopalino nuclear power plant.” This is another agreement for the performance of construction works in connection with the implementation of investment tasks accompanying the construction of Poland’s first nuclear power plant.

The work will result in the restoration of traffic at 120 km/h for passenger and freight trains on line 229, and 160 km/h and 120 km/h, respectively, on line 230, and the stations will be adapted to accommodate freight trains with a length of 750 m and an axle load of 221 kN.

The Company’s remuneration under the concluded agreement amounts to approximately PLN 1.775 billion gross, and the deadline for its implementation was set at 44 months from the date of conclusion of the agreement.
