We invite you to celebrate the 107th anniversary of the Greater Poland Uprising!

The Greater Poland Museum of Independence, in collaboration with Koleje Wielkopolskie, the Institute of National Remembrance in Poznań, and TORPOL S.A., will recall the excitement caused by Master Paderewski’s arrival in 1918. This year’s reenactment will recount the Polish-German clash at the station, and among those welcoming the Master will be heroes with superpowers, the Extraordinary Ones. As in previous years, we invite you to join us in singing patriotic songs and carols. And those who would like to ride with Ignacy Paderewski (played by Teatr Nowy actor Andrzej Lajborek) are invited to join us on a historic train from the Wolsztyn Steam Locomotive Depot on the Poznań-Pałędzie-Poznań route. Tickets for the historic train are available on the website of Koleje Wielkopolskie.

PROGRAM:
3:30 PM – Beginning of the event
4:00 PM – Arrival of the train and welcome of Ignacy Jan Paderewski
5:00 PM – Departure of the train to Palędzia
