Investing in the future of Polish railways and young engineers
TORPOL S.A., as one of the leaders in the railway construction market, has signed a cooperation agreement with Poznań University of Technology – Poland’s leading technical university. The goal of the collaboration is to jointly support the development of technical fields, transfer knowledge, and prepare students and graduates for work on largest infrastructure investments in the country.
The agreement formalizes existing cooperation, particularly in the areas of research and education. TORPOL S.A., as a company leveraging the potential of Poznań University of Technology graduates, consciously prioritizes investing in young talent and innovation. A key element of the agreement is the company’s commitment to the educational process and the creation of a platform for close collaboration. TORPOL will offer students and graduates internships and placements, giving them the opportunity to gain unique experience in implementing complex railway projects. Furthermore, it will actively participate in the educational process, including by collaborating on improving the curriculum to better align theoretical knowledge with the real needs of the labor market, particularly in railway construction. The company also sees significant potential in collaboration in research and development, conducting research and developing new technologies for the construction and maintenance of rail infrastructure, optimizing machine utilization, and analyzing rail traffic reliability and safety.
- We view the agreement as a strategic investment in human capital. We know that the key to maintaining our leadership position is continuous development and investing in the best personnel – commented Konrad Tuliński, the President of the Management Board of TORPOL S.A. – The future of Polish railways depends on young, highly educated engineers.
