The commemoration of 103rd anniversary of the Greater Poland Uprising

Wielkopolska Museum of Independence together with the Local Government of Wielkopolska Voivodeship, the City of Poznań, Koleje Wielkopolskie (Wielkopolska Railways), TORPOL S.A. and I.J. Paderewski’s Teachers’ Choir would like to take us back in time and remind what a stir the arrival of master Paderewski caused in 1918 together with the Wielkopolska Uprising outbreak the day after… We will sing insurgent songs with the audience and tell the story of Paderewski’s arrival to Poznań. And all those who want to go for a ride with Ignacy Paderewski (played by Andrzej Lajborek, an actor from Teatr Nowy) are invited to take a trip on a historic train from the Wolsztyn depot on the Poznań – Swarzędz – Poznań route.

15.45 – warm-up before event staging

16.00 – arrival of the historical train with Ignacy Paderewski and a concert of patriotic songs

17.15 – departure of the train to Swarzędz

18.35 – arrival to Poznań
