Conclusion of a contract for the reconstruction of the Słupsk station

During today’s press conference organized at the Ministry of Infrastructure, the contract for the implementation of construction works within the Słupsk station on railway line No. 202 was signed.

The scope of works provided for in the contract includes comprehensive reconstruction of the track system, including replacement of the surface and subgrade with drainage within the Słupsk station and the Kobylnica Słupska passenger stop. As part of these works, the following will be expanded: the station’s track system will include two groups of parking tracks intended for servicing trains from and towards the Tri-City and from and towards Szczecin, and three platforms will be rebuilt to a height of 0.76 m. In addition, the traction network and the non-traction power supply line will be rebuilt along with power and telecommunications equipment. Twelve engineering structures and two rail and road crossings will undergo modernization. A new Local Control Center will also be built in Słupsk, equipped with railway traffic control devices with a track and turnout vacancy counter system.

The value of the planned works is approximately PLN 691 million gross, and the deadline for their implementation is set at 36 months from the Start Date.
